What Are The NSFAS Requirements For Funding?
Prospective candidates must submit certified copies of the following documents:
Certified copy of your ID/ smart card, not more than 3 months.
A signed and completed consent form.
An SASSA recipient must provide:
Certified copy of your ID, not older more 3 months.
A signed and completed consent form.
A dependent on parents/guardian/spouse, should provide:
Certified ID copies of parent/s, guardian, and spouse not older than 3 months.
Proof of income of parent, guardian or spouse (payslip or appointment letter)
If you are self-sufficient (no parent/guardian support) provide:
Proof of income (payslip or appointment letter).
If you have a disability, provide:
Completed and signed Annexure A.
An orphan should provide:

Be registered or intending to register on a PLP, NC(V) or Report 191 programme at any of the fifty (50) public TVET Colleges in South Africa
Be in need of financial assistance
Not be enrolling for a qualification that duplicates previous learning that was state-funded
Have Household income is less than R350,000/ year
